I decided to read more books ✨

Instead of writing some cheesy quote on importance of books I’d like to try to motivate you to get a hold of a book and start reading with me this week.
...
I’ve spent the majority of my life knowing the benefits of reading books yet being painfully aware that I’m not doing it. During my social media pause the past couple of weeks I took time to evaluate what things I miss having, and reading was the first one that came in mind. It was then and there I set myself a challenge to read one book per week! ...
I thought it would be tough but honestly, my first (184 pages long) book was finished in four days! ... What do you do when you commute to work? Do you make coffee break(s)? Are you on your phone during bathroom breaks? Do you watch TV/Netflix before sleeping?
These are minutes, if not hours, that you could be spending reading and trust me, you will still have plently of time to check your social media or watch an episode of your favorite show.

Picture perfect autumn in #NewYork 🍂
I have to admit, ever since I moved to NY, my work here took a small pause. In the meanwhile, I have adopted new routines (reading more books is one major decision!), developed new friendships and experienced plently of small new adventures. And honestly, it was refreshing not to have to worry about when and what I shall publish next... but then again, I do like sharing my daily life with you and it is still something that brings my more joy than not so here I am ✨
